When you want to reset original Epson T1281, T1282, T1283, T1284, T1285, T1291, T1292, T1293, T1294, T1295 cartridges it is important to do it before the ink level is below 40% and it Also keep the cartridges vertical. These new Epson cartridges have a submerged detector behind the chip. If the cartridge contains little ink or is placed horizontally, air will reach this detector and make the cartridge unrecognizable after resetting. Refreshing when the level is above 40% and the cartridge remains vertical keeps the detector always submerged which prevents the printer from rejecting the cartridge.
